Dear NDT&CM participants, Dear NDT&CM community!
We are hoping that 2021 would bring improvement on the COVID front and that we would see the NDT&CM community physically in Prague, our beloved city.
Unfortunately, the situation at the beginning of 2021 is not that positive, with high numbers of new cases, strict Government regulations, lock-downs and actually stopped cross-border travel. We hope the situation will improve as we approach summer, but with the current (slow) progress with vaccination, and travel bans some big companies and Universities have issued, we would be naive to think that our NDT&CM 2021 will be a “normal” one.
Due to the unpredictable worldwide situation and ongoing travel restrictions, the Organizing Committee decided to organize the event in a hybrid format (virtual and present) if possible.
Partners will have an opportunity to promote themselves online and onsite at the same time which will allow them to reach an even wider range of potential business partners. The present form may vary due to the governmental restrictions placed at the moment or be completely withdrawn.
How will it look like?
- The paper submission and review will proceed as usual.
- At registration, we will ask participants to select physical or virtual presence at the conference. Both physical and virtual participants will have the same access to the talks and posters at the conference.
More details and conditions about registration will be available on website in registration section soon.
- International conference NDE&CM for Safety, the 11th workshop NDT in Progress and the NDT&CM Expo will be held in hybrid, only the 51st annual CNDT conference Defektoskopie will be held only in physical format.
- We will follow all health and hygiene measures on site so that the event is as safe as possible.
As the majority of the NDT conferences in 2021 is cancelled or postponed, the 2nd European NDT&CM Days will be one of the most important NDT, CM, SHM and other related branches WORLD EVENTS in 2021. We hope that the Conference will not only be an opportune time for exchanging research findings but also an occasion for strengthening existing contacts and establishing new ones for all participants.
Although we believe that physical participation will be possible, please follow the conference website carefully for new information and wait for the final confirmation to purchase your flight tickets.
This will be the event of the decade; we hope to see you there!
